For the upcoming 2013-2014 school year we have 13 student ambassadors in grades 11 and 12.

Who are student ambassadors?
Qualities of a Student Ambassador:
· junior or senior
· outgoing
· exhibits leadership qualities
· mature, “level headed,” non-biased
· trustworthy
· committed
· exhibits strong academic behaviors
Responsibilities of a Student Ambassador:
· mentor 1-4 freshmen students throughout the year
· attend one-day summer workshop for mentor training
· attend at least one PTSO meeting during the school year
· participate in “Dear Abby” letters (write to give advice to students)
· assist with freshmen Open House in August
· assist with freshmen orientation
· assist Mrs. Weaver with various activities to support freshmen students
· assist with recruitment efforts in Spring 2014
· be an advocate and spokesperson for ECE when out in the community
· meet with Mrs. Weaver as needed throughout the year
