187. Yes. I'm absolutely thankful for every single one of my ECE students. You are brilliant. You are worthy. Enjoy the break and see you next week! We just left UNC-Asheville, home of the bulldogs. It was awesome! Brittany from admissions showed us a prezi that detailed te university's majors, student life, and admissions process. She did an outstanding job and tailored the presentation to our group of students. Then a student ambassador named Lauren gave us a tour of campus. It is truly gorgeous up there. The campus is small, almost as small as CCC New Bern, but when you're surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains, you're almost to heaven. Their student body is just over 3500. Very small for a public school. We ate lunch at their dining hall- they served all types of food: pizza, gyros, salads, Indian, Italian, Mexican. There was something for every palate. We are back on the bus headed to Boone, NC where we will tour Appalachian tomorrow morning before heading back home. 9th grade students:
Freshmen schedules are pretty set. Most freshmen classes are yearlong. Mrs. Weaver will be meeting with Solutions classes to talk about next semester during the month of November. The college counselor and Mrs. Weaver will take care of college registration, if applicable. Mrs. Weaver will meet with freshmen individually by online appointment in the spring to talk about the sophomore year. Your parents are more than welcome to come at that time. 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students: Schedule a meeting online to meet Mrs. Weaver to talk about course selection. Your parents are more than welcome to come. Meetings will occur starting October 1 and continue until November 22. Schedule a meeting with Mrs. Weaver online at http://ececounseling.youcanbook.me/
